Dear All,
I thought for the fun of it I would give a thought or something that I have been studding or thinking about. Sometimes it will be from articles or other resources that I have been studying. So each week I will send you an e-mail and if you do not care to be on this Thought Of The Week just send me an e-mail and let me know and I will take you off.
Are you ready? Here I go!!!!!!
Winston Churchill, Prime Minister of England during W.W.II "There comes a special moment in everyone's life, a moment for which that person was born. That special opportunity, when he seizes it, will fulfill his mission, a mission for which he is uniquely qualified. In that moment, he finds greatness. It is his finest hour."
Our finest hour comes when God's providence meets with our own preparation. Most of life is a steady, consistent preparation and cultivation for our finest hour -- that season for which we are to make our significant contribution to the world.
We've each been created for a divine purpose. This purpose fits into God's overall scheme for the world; we are a piece of the providential puzzle.
We have a role to play; a mission to fulfill. The resources have been placed inside of us to be discovered , developed and distributed. But we have no guarantee of automatically finding them. In Matthew 25, we read about a servant who "buried his talent" and never discovered what God had planned for him. he never experienced his fines hour.
SEIZING THE DAY!
"The scriptures exhort us: "Look carefully the how you walk! Live purposefully and worthily and accurately, not as the unwise and witless, but a wise -- sensible, intelligent people; making the very most of the time -- buying up each opportunity -- because the day are evil. Therefore, do not be vague and thoughtless and foolish, but understanding and firmly grasping what the will of the Lord is." (Ephesians 5:15-17, Amplified Bible)
*Taken from - Living The Life You Were Meant To Live - by Tim Elmore
When Time Elmore is talking about Your Finest Hour he is saying that God is preparing you and I for specific purposes that He has planned and wants to use us for. So my question is this:
Take time to think where you are and if you want write to me if you have any thoughts on this "Finest Hour"
God is Good All The Time!
"He Must become greater, I must become Less"
