Gentle winds bearing peace,
Soft rains bringing hope,
And spring once again comes
Carrying promise.
Flowers again are born,
Pretty faces poking into the world.
Life ahead is awash with
Rains, and drought,
Good times and bad.
But for you,
The drought came too soon.
And your small petals withered,
Before they got to shine.
Your short life was full of struggle
And you fought with all your strength.
But your destiny held more strife,
And you finally gave up the fight.
As a celestial peace filled your body,
That was once filled with pain,
The sun shines down brighter then ever
With it's precious flower finally home.
